Local Restaurants & Places to Eat around Plymouth

Pizza Hut Restaurants

78 Royal Parade, Plymouth PL1 1EW, UK – 01752 254625

Good quality pizzas as expected. Great to drop in for the lunch time deal in the city centre with all-you-can-eat salad buffet. Only criticism is that on a cool/cold day, the air conditioning over customer seating could be turned down, off or directed away from seating area. We had to sit with our jackets on for it to be comfortable (also food went cold rather quick).

I love the food here! Service is always good, with some waiting staff being exceptional! There are good deals like 41% off and also student offers like £5 buffets at lunch time. Wait times at the door have always been short and the free salad is great! The atmosphere is warm and friendly and food has always arrived quickly, even on busy Saturday lunch times. Overall, 5 stars!

Lanterns Restaurant

88 Cornwall St, Plymouth PL1 1LR, UK – 01752 665516

Had a brilliant evening there for a birthday celebration. The food was excellent and good value for our money and the staff were really good, nothing was to much trouble and they did it all with a sense of humour. We will look forward to a return visit.

The restaurant has a homely feeling to it, the food was really tasty and filling, and the waitress was very caring.

The Harbour Seafood Restaurant & Takeaway

21, Sutton Harbour, The Barbican, Plymouth PL1 2LS, UK – 01752 228556

Lovely atmosphere with impeccable interior Design. The staff were as proactive as possible on a busy night and our waiter was quite charismatic. The burger fillings were flavoursome, (I recommend the refreshing crab roll) but not enough of them, especially in the scallop burger. The unlimited chips policy is a nice one and the misto fish dish was interesting. I believe all the produce was locally sourced, which is always good in seaside town. Would go again, but maybe I'll book beforehand and I'll be popping into their takeaway located next door soon.

What a great place & the meal was lovely. Micky & the waiting staff were brilliant & very attentive, nothing was too much trouble even though it was extremely busy Friday evening. The sun was shining in Plymouth & with the glass doors open wow what a fantastic setting. Definitely worth a try!
