Great old fashioned cinema, much more character than the multiplex style buildingd. All of the staff are friendly, cheerful and helpful. Very cheap too.
An unpretentious no thrills cinema. But bargain prices for tickets, food and drink means you won’t have to get a second mortgage to go to the cinema. It also does NHS and military discount. Love this place
Barbican Leisure Park, Shapters Road, Coxside, Plymouth PL4 0LG, UK – 0345 308 4620
Price has changed to £4.99 for the rest of 2018 hence the 5 stars. Excellent for the price (was previously excessive). Comfy seats and air conditioned. The green fire escape lights reflect off some of the screens and there are minor marks on some of the screens. These are picky observations though, overall very good picture and sound quality.
The best cinema in Plymouth, of which there is two. And it's not exactly hard to beat the other one. Amazing selection of current films. Good comfortable seats and I love that the arms can go up- perfect for cuddling next to a date. The lights down the middle remained on but dim and this was distracting at certain points. The prices, of course, are very very expensive. As is common among all Vue cinemas.

Hired the space for a private event, it really made it! Catering from the university was great with really helpful and friendly staff assisting. Couldn't have been happier.
It's one of the lecture theatres. Completely depends on what you've turned-up for.
Castle St, Plymouth PL1 2NJ, UK – 01752 267131
Lovely local theatre with a friendly atmosphere. The staff clearly care about the artist and audience experience. Hidden in the historic Plymouth Barbican they frequently also create work that leads the audience through these side streets.
This is a great Theatre encouraging innovative performances. Lovely atmosphere and friendly welcome for all.
Royal Parade, Plymouth PL1 2TR, UK – 01752 267222
Went to see For the Love of a Stranger by Agatha Christie. I had not been to the Theatre Royal since the refurbishment as I was out of the Devon for at least 10 years and moved back again and I so enjoyed it very much and going to the Theatre Again! As I only managed to go to the theatre once while living away from Plymouth as mega busy etc. The staff I came into contact with were lovely and couldn't be more accommodating and courteous. I enjoyed the show immensely! I am looking forward to my next show already, whatever it may be!
Comfortable seating although the tiring could have been a little steeper to see over the person in front and the toilets were hard to find and up or down steeod. There was a disabled toilet but quite a question for this. I was offered a free to use audio enhancement system but neither my colleague or I could get this to work maybe it was not actually turned on. Not withstanding all of this it's a excellent venue and I thoroughly enjoyed the show I went to see

Kids like it. Good parking. Friedly staff, easy access. Caters for special needs. Not much disabled parking.
TR2 is an amazing resource, so inclusive, so welcoming and so professional. Plymouth is very lucky to have this facility, but even more, to have such vibrant, cultural work going on for the benefit of everyone.
